"Barbie's Cradle"
The music of Barbie Almalbis lived on when her succeeding band, BARBIE’S CRADLE was formed. Barbie’s Cradle consisted of Barbie on
guitars and vocals, Franklin Benitez on drums and a new bassist, Rommel Dela Cruz. In the year 2000, the group’s self-titled album
under Warner Music Philippines was released. The said album had a relaxing beat that tackled the adventures of life and love. Further, it included twelve tracks, such as Tabing-Ilog, used as the theme of a popular television series in the 90’s, Pag-alis, first
released in the said album and a rendition of it was again included in Barbie’s current hit album, Parade. Also, among the twelve
tracks of the said album are the songs Go, Healing, Untouchable Ones, The Dance, Wing, Someone Else, Free, Pretty Paper Doll and
Goodnyt.
